EXEN Spotlight
Successful completion of the EXEN automated fuel system brought a groundbreaking achievement. This accomplishment highlights our team’s dedication to innovation and the strength of our partnerships, which continues to drive our progress.
EXEN has entered into high level negotiations with a diesel engine retrofit and service company, with several thousands of ship-owners, shipyards, industrial plants and power stations around the world.
Enhancing Digital Operations with Programmable Logic Controller
In 2024, EXEN PLC and diesel engine computer control was designed and integrated into the EXEN fuel system. This addition allows seamless communication between the EXEN fuel system and diesel engines. Our team of skilled engineers deliver specialized solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients, ensuring reliability and innovation in every project.
Pilot System Development, 2021
Years of fuel infusion research have culminated in the development of a pilot system design that incorporates all our know-how.
The pilot system is designed to operate with each of our three infusion processes in one unit. Installations are turn-key.

Isla Colon Panama, 2020
After a successful demonstration of the EXEN infusion system at a Taboga power plant, the Aerodiesel unit was relocated to the 10.2 mW power plant at Bocas del Toro on Isla Colon.
The EXEN infusion system was installed on a XQ-2000 CAT generator with mechanically actuated, electronically controlled unit injectors.
Second time around, EXEN was able to successfully demonstrate that the Caterpillar engines fuel efficiency gain was enhanced by over 20% with Aerodiesel infusion process.

Isla Taboga Panama, 2019
The initial power plant field demonstration of Aerodiesel system was performed at 1.2 mW power plant on Isla Taboga.
The infusion system was coupled to a Perkins MP-615, 6-cylinder, turbocharged, unit injection, diesel engine.
No modifications to the engine's fuel system were required, and the system installation was plug and play as is standard in most Aerodiesel applications.
